Consistency is the Key to Success.

What makes a quality ExPress® soymeal?  That’s a question we get asked a lot.  Most recently, I was contacted by one of our customers in India who had questions that focused on the Trypsin Inhibitor (TIU.) The customer informed me that they were producing ExPress® meal with a TIU level above 10,000, which is high.

The first question I asked was related to the running temperature inside the extruder barrel, which turned out to be significantly below the recommended parameters. Additionally, the customer was using locally-made extruder parts, resulting in an inability to maintain the recommended running temperature. The locally-made parts were costing them more money than original Insta-Pro parts because they wear faster and do not allow the equipment to run at optimum levels, causing the customer to have issues with meal buyers.

We at Insta-Pro take pride in the quality of our machinery and what comes out of it on a consistent basis. Running at a consistent temperature, utilizing Insta-Pro parts, will result in a more consistent product with low moisture levels. This will keep protein and other nutrients elevated because they’re not being diluted by water. Nutrient digestibility will remain high, this goes with reducing TIUs and rupturing plant cell walls. When running at a higher, consistent temperature, oil extraction is maximized. Taking out more oil does not reduce energy, it increases usable energy for growth.

When you are in a highly competitive environment, compromises cannot be made. We build our equipment from premium components so that our customers can produce premium end products. We do not compromise on the quality of our equipment for one reason only: we want our customers to be successful in their business. Simple as that.
