Inventory Specialist

The Inventory Specialist position will be located at our Grimes, Iowa Headquarters. The right candidate should be able to effectively work in a team and have strong organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities

Check incoming inventory for quality issues and receive the inventory in Fishbowl
Stock and tag received inventory in proper locations or prepare to send off-site when required
Perform cycle counts and full inventory counts as needed and investigate any discrepancies
Maintain proper labeling of all inventory, ie part numbers, weights, dims, etc
Pull parts required for orders and package according to destination requirements
When applicable, arrange UPS courier shipments for domestic customers
Coordinate with export staff on international shipments
Load outbound shipments onto trucks/containers as needed
Provide Assembly and R&D personnel with required inventory for their operations

Additional Responsibilities

Manage stock of packaging supplies
Build assemblies as needed
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years related experience
Must be highly organized with problem-solving skills
Mechanical aptitude preferred
Valid CDL a plus
Forklift/Scissor Lift experience preferred but will train
