Sales Manager, South Eastern USA & Canada

The Sales Manager, SE US position will report to the Regional Director, Americas. Key areas of responsibility are developing the market, building strong customer relationships, and increasing market share.
The right candidate will be a highly motivated individual with proven leadership skills, the ability to organize their work schedule independently, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Implement sales and marketing strategies to drive sales in your region.
• Build customer relationships to drive parts and equipment sales in your region to achieve sales targets.
• Proactively contact current customers on a regular basis to assess business needs.
• Proactively network with end users and influencers to drive demand for extruded products.
• Follow leads from website, tradeshows, phone calls and target lists for region.
• Prepare & present sales presentations appropriate for your region.
• Assist customers in problem solving.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• 3 years of successfully selling capital equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture or related field preferred but not essential.
• Mechanical background and/or abilities a plus.
• Nutrition and/or Extrusion knowledge a plus.
• Strong communication skills required. Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time.
